Scuba Diving Tour in Rio de Janeiro takes place in Arraial do Cabo city, a chaming little fishing village just 02 hours away from Rio city.
Our Scuba Diving Tour in Rio de Janeiro , takes you to the outskirt of Rio city, to a little town with a fishing village appeal, called Arraial do Cabo. It is located about 180 km (112 miles) north of Rio. Although it preserves the look of a fishing village, tourism has been increasing lately, due to the excellent conditions for scuba diving. Beautiful rock formations, sunk ships, corals, reefs, turtles and even barracudas can be seen in its clear waters. And that`s what makes this little town one of the best in Brazil to dive at. First time divers are welcome.

Photos and Videos are not included. They can be purchased for R$ 120,00 per person ( for discovery scuba clients). Professional photos, usually come with 6 high quality photos, or GoPro Photos, also great, at R$ 90,00 per person. Certified divers will pay R$ 150,00 for professional Photos.
Embarkation fee charged by harbor not included: R$ 10,00 per person.

Booking Tips
Avoid booking Scuba Diving during carnival season, new years ( december 30th, 31st and january 1st) as well as the first or last days of local holidays. Yet, if you cannot avoid those periods , be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any extra time spent in traffic.

Remember that you don’t need to check availability with us before you book the tour. Our calendar will display our availability for this tour. Usually our cut-off time ranges from 12 HS to 48 HS ,depending on the tour. In case you wish to book this tour for tomorrow and can’t see the availability on the calendar, please contact us using the whatsapp button and we will be happy to help. Remember that during the check out process, you will be directed to PayPal for the payment. It you don’t have a PayPal account, you can easily open a free account in a few minutes. All you need is to use your email, create a password and add a credit card to your new account. If you don’t want to open an account, you will not be able to pay with a credit card, and will only be able to pay via local bank transfer( PIX).
In very rare occasions, in case of sudden weather and wind changes, the Coast Guard may prevent the departure from taking place, without notice. It is a situation we cannot predict, that causes a lot of trouble and frustration. In those cases, we will try to dive in Cabo Frio or Búzios, which are nearby towns, that offer similar sealife and diving conditions, at an extra cost fo R$ 150,00 per person.
