Our Kayaking Tour in Rio de Janeiro , takes you to different places within the Guanabara bay area, according to wind and sea conditions. We usually pass by the fort São João, Fort Laje, and when conditions are favorable, we can even visit Niterói city, Cotunduba Island , or even Praia Vermelha (Red beach), on the other side of Sugar Loaf mountain. It is quite a unique tour , that gives you a different perspective of our city. We use tandem kayaks in our tours, which means that our customers will always ride in pairs. The total distance the group will paddle for, is about 10 km.

Tour Program

• The group will meet the guide at the agreed meeting point and time. (Address details on the voucher).
• After meeting the guide, the group will go through some safety tips, for about 20 minutes, then will wear life vests and helmets, before going to the sea.
• The tour takes in total, around 3 hs. The chosen route will depend on wind and weather conditions.
